Stephen Seifert, M.D.
You plant a few grapevines and start making wine as a hobby. You share it with friends. They like it. They like it so much they offer to buy it. So you plant more grapes and make more wine, and soon you have eight acres of grapes under cultivation, and it’s no longer a hobby. It’s a business. Dr. Stephen Seifert’s artisan winery, Seifert Cellars, now produces 600 cases of wine a year all with grapes grown in its own vineyard.
While Dr. Seifert is great at turning grapes into complex wines he’s even more skilled at treating life-threatening emergencies. Originally from San Antonio, he attended Texas A&M and the University of Texas Medical School. He was a flight surgeon for three years before coming to Shannon as an Emergency Medicine doctor and becoming the EMS medical director.
He loves San Angelo because it’s a great place to raise a family. He also loves how its size really allows people to know one another.
He chose Shannon because of their commitment to excellence in providing care to all patients. Just like you.
